Inbound transfer refers to transferring your domain from the current/losing registrar to NameMart for management. This process does not affect the normal operation of your website.

The procedure is: submit a transfer-out request at your current registrar, obtain an authorization code (EPP code), and then initiate a transfer-in request to NameMart. The transfer usually takes 5 to 7 days.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Submit a transfer out request at your current registrar.

2. After obtaining the authorization code, submit a domain transfer-in request on our platform. When submitting, enter the domain name and authorization code in the required format (e.g., namemart.com,sasnjh@Rs1), then select the corresponding contact template.

3. Click "Calculate Transfer Price" to get the total cost, then click "Submit." After a successful submission, the status will change to pendingTransfer within approximately 10-30 minutes. The transfer process typically takes 5 to 7 days.

Under most registry policies, when a domain is successfully transferred to a gaining registrar, the expiration date is extended by one year from the original expiration date. For example: namemart.com expires on July 4, 2026. If transferred to a new registrar on June15, 2026, the new expiration date will be July 4, 2027.

The expiry date does not extend after transfer, typically because the domain's expiration date is already more than 9 years away from the current date before the transfer. Under registry policies, the maximum period is 10 years, so no further extension is possible upon transfer.

Notes:

1. Please ensure the domain is unlocked at the current registrar, transfers will fail if the domain remains locked.

2. Please ensure the transfer authorization code (EPP code) is correct, incorrect code will cause transfer failure.

3. Avoid making any changes to the domain (e.g., change DNS, ownership transfer) during the transfer process to prevent disruptions.

4. Successful transfers automatically renew the domain for one year. Please ensure your account balance is sufficient.
